Utah wins Rocky Mountain Invitational

For the second year in a row, the Utes took first place our annual Rocky Mountain Invitational, hosted at our own HPER Natatorium. We hosted more teams than ever before, welcoming teams from Utah, Colorado, Montana, California, and Oregon. The Utes proved to be a force to be reckoned with at Nationals this year, and we are working hard to place in the top 10 in North Carolina this April. We had lots of fast swims and records broken at RMI, including the following: Avery Updegrove, Julia Bandoni, Caroline Luman, and Aleah Griffin: 400 Medley Relay (4:11.29) Caroline Luman: 200 Backstroke (2:13.67), 50 Butterfly (27.61), 200 IM (2:13.83), and 400 IM (4:42.11) Nick Skorut, Ian Neville, John Wag
