2018-2019 Season in Review

The 2018-19 season began with the officer elections, as our team said farewell to our founder Ethan Beseris. Without Ethan at the helm, Connor Morgan was entrusted as the next to arise to the presidency. With the beginning of the team coming to an end, Connor and the remainder of the Executive Board were given an opportunity to utilize the 2018-19 season as a springboard to propel Utah Club Swim and Dive towards the next level in the world of College Club Swimming. This season was by far the most successful year in University of Utah Club Swim and Dive history. Nationals: Utes take 11th!

At the College Club Swimming National Championships at The Ohio State University this past weekend, the University of Utah Club Swim and Dive team performed better than ever before with the women placing 9th, the men placing 13th, and the team placing 11th overall! We were absolutely ecstatic, especially considering our previous highest placing was 25th in 2017. A record 29 swimmers flew to Columbus, Ohio to compete in this meet with close to 2000 swimmers from over 100 universities across the Nation. As a team, 30 swims were in the top 20, 10 swims were in the top 10, and we had our first ever Nationals podium: Nick Skorut taking 2nd place in the 50 Backstroke. There is no doubt that a hug
